Seoul Metro
Very efficient and convenient way to move around Seoul. The metro subway map might look a bit like a spaghetti map but once you get an idea of which station you are and where you want to go - its easy and usually there are options between taking various Lines.
There is also the fast express trains that you could transfer from the subway (but buy the transfer ticket before you get on!) to go further away from Seoul, like to Nami Island.
Most major subway stations have access to good food and shopping areas - just be careful which exit you come out of as it might mean a 10min walk in the wrong direction!
T-money card can be used for subway, trains and taxi - strongly suggest you get the T-card once arriving in Seoul so you don't have to worry about public transport.
